The Monday Rant … {Blogtoberfest III}

Today I would like to have a little rant, if that’s ok with you.

I live in a basement.  I get no signal from my new phone with a new provider.  None.  Nada.  Zip.  To send a text I have to stand on the top of my sofa and wave the handset around in vain hope of catching one bar of signal.

Now I can’t even get a signal standing outside my house, or in my street.  I have to walk 400 metres down the road to pick up a bar of signal.

I spent 40 minutes on the phone (at work) to Three mobile today.  I want to cancel my contract.  They said I’d have to pay 20 months of line rental as an early settlement.  I pointed out that they are not providing the service I’m paying for.  They said they’d get technical to do some tests and call me at home one evening.

Yup, that would be on my mobile.  The one that gets no signal. 

sheeeeeeeeeeeesh!
